If your child is due to start school in September 2024, we would be delighted to welcome you at our Open Morning on Wednesday 1st November 2023. To book onto one of our tours please go to www.schoolinterviews.co.uk and use Event code bueyt
After this date we will run weekly tours every Monday at 2pm. Please email office@ladyboswells.kent.sch.uk to book onto one. The Application window for Reception places opens on Friday 3rd November 2023 and closes on Monday 15th January 2024 via Kent County Council. Please read through the Admissions Policy shown below and complete and return the Supplementary information Form found at the end of the Policy (unless you are applying under Criteria 9 - All other Children) directly to Lady Boswell's.
We fully appreciate the enormity of choosing a school for your child and how difficult this process might be. We have created a short film which we hope will offer you a flavour of Lady Boswell's and what makes us different. You can find this at the start of the previous Admissions page.
We are happy to answer any questions that you may have. If they are not answered in the FAQ (frequently asked questions) below, please email admissions@ladyboswells.kent.sch.uk
In the April prior to your child starting school you will be informed by the Local Authority which school your child has been allocated. You can appeal against the decision and the allocation letter will outline how to go about making such an appeal.
If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2023, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Monday, 17 April 2023).
You needed to submit your appeal before Tuesday 16 May 2023 for it to be considered by Thursday 18 July 2023. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education
