Public Sector Equality Duty
Lady Boswell's Primary School is committed to upholding the Equality Act October 2010. We welcome our general duty under the Equality Act to eliminate discrimination, to advance equality of opportunity, and to foster good relations across all characteristics. Our school policies and practices, e.g. close tracking of all pupil outcomes, and effective links with outside agencies where relevant, promotes equality of opportunity for all children and members of our school community. Our School ethos is at the heart of all that we do, ensuring that our inclusive community enables all to flourish.
In accordance with the Equality Act 2010 we have the following current Equality Objectives which we review annually:
· eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation and other conduct under the Act
· advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not
· foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not.
