Curriculum Overview

Our vision and values are ingrained in our curriculum. We believe that every child is a Child of God, and regardless of their background, gender or faith, they should have access to a knowledge-based, wide, exciting and inspiring curriculum that enables them to shine, achieve their God-given potential, develop a sense of awe and wonder and prepare them for the global society in which we live.


At Lady Boswell’s Primary School, we offer a curriculum which is broad and balanced, accessible to all, and which builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills of all children, whatever their starting points.


Lady Boswell’s School Curriculum Plan takes its fundamental objectives and aims from the National Curriculum 2014 document and Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).  We also provide planned opportunities that make up the wider curriculum, resulting in a vibrant and highly enriched curriculum which brings learning to life.


For Year specific Curriculum information, please follow Curriculum>Class information>Curriculum Map.  Lady Boswell's School is pleased to be using Knowledge Organisers which help the children link their knowledge and skills to their previous learning, and allow them to know what they are expected to learn throughout a new topic.  Please visit Curriculum>Knowledge Organisers to see the Knowledge Organiser documents for each year group.
