Our School prides itself on its communication with parents.
We use Parentmail PMX as our electronic communication and payment system. For parents, this means that they can easily pick up school messages (either emails or SMS) on their PC or smartphone. In order to set up a PMX account, parents are required to upload their email address and mobile phone numbers to the system; ParentMail is registered with the Information Commissioner and guarantees that all information provided will be kept private and will not be passed on to any other organisation.
Payments for school trips or events are made quickly and easily through Parentmail PMX. Purchasing tickets for PTA events or products are made separately through the PTA website, a link for which can be found below and on the Homepage of this website.
Communication with the Classroom
Every child receives a Contact Book at the beginning of each academic year, these books are checked daily and allow easy two-way communication between parents and the Class Teacher. Each term there is an Open Classroom session during which parents are welcome to pop in and view the children’s work which is on show, or have a brief chat with the Class Teacher. If a parent has a question relating to their child’s classwork or wellbeing in class, we would encourage them to contact the Class Teacher through the Contact Book or alternatively, by telephoning the School Office to make an appointment to speak with the Class Teacher.
Communication with the School’s Governing Body
If a parent wishes to raise an issue with the School’s Governing Body, then the School Office will be able to arrange contact. Please email the School Office at firstname.lastname@example.org
