Communication with Parents
Our School prides itself on its communication with parents.
Electronic Communication
We use Arbor as our MIS (Management Information System) and as our electronic communication and payment system. For parents, this means that they can easily pick up school messages (either emails or SMS) on their PC or smartphone.
Payments
Payments for school trips or events are made quickly and easily through Arbor. Purchasing tickets for PTA events or products are made separately through the PTA website, a link for which can be found below and on the Homepage of this website.
Communication with the Classroom
Every child receives a Contact Book at the beginning of each academic year, these books are checked daily and allow easy two-way communication between parents and the Class Teacher. Each term there is an Open Classroom session during which parents are welcome to pop in and view the children’s work which is on show, or have a brief chat with the Class Teacher. If a parent has a question relating to their child’s classwork or wellbeing in class, we would encourage them to contact the Class Teacher through the Contact Book or alternatively, by telephoning the School Office to make an appointment to speak with the Class Teacher.
For matters that cannot be dealt with by the Class Teacher we would ask parents to telephone or email the School Office to make an appointment to meet with the appropriate member of the School’s management team. Please email the School Office at office@ladyboswells.kent.sch.uk
Communication with the School’s Governing Body
If a parent wishes to raise an issue with the School’s Governing Body, then the School Office will be able to arrange contact. Please email the School Office at office@ladyboswells.kent.sch.uk
Child Safeguarding
If you have any concerns regarding the safety of a child within the School, please email one of our designated Safeguarding Officers, Mrs H Browning at SENCO@ladyboswells.kent.sch.uk or Mrs T Wicks at t.wicks@ladyboswells.kent.sch.uk
