Life at Lady Boswell's
At Lady Boswell’s, Christ is at the centre of our school. We value every member of our community as a unique child of God and seek to demonstrate his love through our words and actions.
Our core values encapsulate both our Christian foundation and our core purpose as an Outstanding educational establishment which strives for excellence.
Our aim is for all of our children to become happy, caring, responsible independent learners who achieve personal success and feel secure and valued in our Christian environment.
To achieve this we provide a strong, Christian ethos which encourages the children to love and respect one another and to love God. We provide opportunities and positive role models to allow children to develop independence and responsibility. We plan and implement a broad, balanced "Creative Curriculum" which is challenging and inclusive to all and are continually looking for ways to innovate and improve what we do.
This is a Church of England school within the Diocese of Rochester
Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles and practice of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church in the parish and diocese.
The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian Belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significant of faith, and promotes Christian values through experiences it offers to all its pupils.
We have six core values at Lady Boswells; the children learn about these in depth during our collective worship. However, these values are central to everything we do at school and in life and underpin all policies and practice.
