The children have a choice of having a school lunch (free for KS1, paid for in advance for KS2) or bring in a packed lunch from home.  

Some children may be entitled to Targeted or Extended Free School Meals. Please see the School Office for more information.

Targeted FSM is for families 

• With household income of £7,400 or less

• In receipt of Universal Credit

Extended FSM is for families

• With household income in excess of £7,400

• In receipt of Universal Credit

Families eligible for either Targeted and Extended FSM will be eligible for a free school dinner, whilst those on Targeted FSM will also generate Pupil Premium.

School meals are cooked on site by the catering company, Caterlink.  We have a number of midday supervisors on hand to help the smaller children until they become familiar with the system of queuing up, choosing their meal, carrying their tray, etc.  The midday supervisors also help children to cut food, finish their meal, etc. 

Caterlink provide a choice of two main courses each day, one of which is vegetarian, plus there is the option to have a jacket potato, vegetables, salad bar and a dessert.
