OFSTED 2026

Following an Ofsted inspection in April 2026, Lady Boswell’s has been awarded Strong Standard in every area of the inspection framework.  In January 2026 Ofsted changed its inspection framework.  Schools are now assessed across seven areas - Achievement, Attendance and Behaviour, Curriculum and Teaching, Early Years, Inclusion, Leadership and Governance, Personal Development and Wellbeing.  Safeguarding is considered separately as met or not met.

The Lady Boswell's award is in recognition of consistent, high-quality practice across the school, with pupils thriving academically, socially and personally, supported by a dedicated staff team who are committed to giving every child the very best opportunities.   This achievement and one that reflects the dedication, passion and commitment of our entire school community.

SIAMS 2026

In March 2026, the School underwent a SIAMS inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools).  Their inspection findings confirmed that Lady Boswell's School's theologically rooted Christian vision effectively drives its culture, curriculum, and community life.  The inspection found the school’s 'distinctive Christian character, values, and ethos to be exceptional, profoundly influencing the school’s daily life and fostering a nurturing, inclusive community where pupils and adults "flourish" '.
